Bolder and Brighter: 2016 Lexus ES Receives Boosts in Style and Safety
With its prominent spindle grille and aggressive L-shaped LED daytime running lights, the current Lexus ES already makes its presence well known on the road, but a refreshed 2016 model will leave no head unturned when it goes on sale later this year. The recently revealed 2016 Lexus ES 350 will convey even more confidence with its boldly restyled front-end, while customers will benefit from advanced crash prevention thanks to the newly available Lexus Safety System+.
Serving as the exterior centerpiece of the 2016 Lexus ES 350 is a new single-panel version of the spindle grille, which is wrapped in satin-chrome trim and complemented by new standard LED headlights. Along the lower front fascia, the fog lights have been pushed toward the corners to emphasize the luxury sedan’s wide stance. Wherever you look, the new styling cues suggest that the 2016 Lexus ES is not messing around!
Inside its well-appointed cabin, the 2016 ES 350 will offer appealing new trims like Linear Dark Mocha and Bamboo with a matte finish, but the most notable change will be the breadth of active-safety technologies that are part of the optional Lexus Safety System+. The base package will consist of Intelligent High Beams, High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and a Pre-Collision System, but buyers will also be able to opt for the Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Priced starting at less than $39,000, the current Lexus ES features the high levels of style, refinement and technology that are typically reserved for luxury vehicles that cost thousands of dollars more, and the updated 2016 model will only build upon those advantages. We can’t wait until the 2016 Lexus ES 350 arrives at our South Florida Lexus dealership!
