Report: Lexus Surpasses Mercedes-Benz for Lead in Customer Satisfaction
While a new report has found that customer satisfaction has generally declined throughout the auto industry in 2015, Lexus has held strong with its satisfaction rating to earn the top spot of any auto brand. The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) gave Lexus a score of 84 out of 100 in its “Automobiles Report 2015,” placing the luxury brand ahead of last year’s leader, Mercedes-Benz.
To determine its customer-satisfaction rankings, ACSI surveyed 4,294 customers who had bought their vehicle within the past three years. The surveys were conducted via email from April 22 to June 5, 2015, asking customers about their vehicle purchase and ownership experience. Of the 27 automotive nameplates covered in the report, 15 brands saw a decrease in customer satisfaction compared to 2014, but Lexus continues to buck industry trends with its engaging, high-quality vehicle lineup.
Lexus has been no stranger to the top spot in satisfaction and dependability ratings this year. In February, the brand ranked the highest in the J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study for the fourth straight year, while in April, DealerRater announced that Lexus stores had bested all other luxury dealerships in its 2015 Consumer Rating Index. In fact, JM Lexus earned a 2015 DealerRater Dealer of the Year award for being the top-ranked U.S. Lexus dealership, meaning that we’re the best of the best when it comes to customer satisfaction.
Regardless of what’s happening in the auto industry as a whole, you can always count on Lexus to provide higher levels of quality and satisfaction. Stop by our Florida Lexus dealership today to see why customers consistently rank the luxury brand ahead of its competitors!
