Not Lexus, though. The luxury brand continues to evoke passion in drivers while always being there as a dependable partner for their daily commutes.
There was a lot of buzz surrounding the aggressive styling and sporty handling of the Lexus NX crossover and RC coupe when they launched late in 2014, but the all-new vehicles have now proved that safety was far from an afterthought when they were designed. Lexus’ hot new duo recently earned the highest overall crash rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), with both models designated as a Top Safety Pick+.
Car buyers in the United States had Lexus’ all-new RC coupe to be thankful for on Turkey Day this year, helping the luxury auto brand achieve its best-ever November sales last month. We’ve seen strong initial demand for the aggressively styled 2015 Lexus RC at our Florida dealership, and 880 models were sold across the country during the vehicle’s gradual rollout in November. That performance contributed to a 7 percent overall sales increase for Lexus compared to the same month last year.
The all-new 2015 Lexus RC luxury coupe is already winning over our customers after arriving at our Lexus dealership near Fort Lauderdale earlier this month, but there’s no doubt that many Florida drivers would like an open-air version for enjoying the abundant sunshine. While Lexus has yet to confirm whether such a model will be produced, the luxury brand revealed a preview of what an RC convertible might look like with the debut of the aggressive Lexus LF-C2 Concept at the LA Auto Show earlier this week.
The all-new Lexus RC coupe and Lexus NX compact crossover are two of the most boldly styled luxury models on the market, and last week, custom tuners showed just how far those daring vehicle designs can be taken at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. In production form, the Lexus RC and Lexus NX both sport an oversized spindle grille and angular LED headlamps underlined by L-shaped daytime running lights, and the customized SEMA models build on that edgy styling.
